Friends in distant places

Friends in distant places, originally uploaded by Rob Ferrol.

I was cajoled into gettting out in the snow this morning while tweeting on my iphone by two fine photographers – Doug Chinnery (thefatcat44) and Jason Theaker – they both said it would be worthwhile.

Well, after peeling my head off the pillow I ventured out into the frozen tundra to be greeted by whiteout blizzard conditions – Pffff “worth while” i muttered under my breath!! Then all of a sudden it cleared. So I hurriedly composed a few shots of this tree, avoiding Dougs (and Stan the dogs) footprints/pawprints – Doug always gets up at stupid-O-clock and gets there first, lol.

Anyway, the snow has continued all day and there is more to come apparrently, so, if you hav’nt heard from me by tomorrow send out a search party coz i’ll be up and out again – if I can just get my head off the pillow again.
